The Mobile Library Service is operated by Leicestershire County Council and visits Kilby on the third Tuesday of every month. Dates for 2017 are:

17 January, 21 February, 21 March, 18 April, 16 May, 20 June, 18 July, 15 August, 19 September, 17 October, 21 November and 19 December

It stops at Wistow Close between 1.10 pm and 1.30 pm and at the School between 1.35pm and 2.25 pm
